- Mature plants will range from 2 to 6 feet tall. Some will bloom the first year; others will require two or more seasons to become established.

- Each package contains enough seed to plant 1,000 square feet
We recommend seeding the Mesic Wildflower mix (#1629) along with the Grass mix (#1630) to better maximize prairie diversity and inhibit weed pressure. Best sown in Spring or late Fall.

Plant in late fall or it won't germinate!

None of this seed came up. I planted it in late May. I belong to a Facebook native plant group and they said to get fresh seed and plant right before the first snow this late fall. Apparently it needs a period of cold to germinate so planting in early spring probably wouldn't work, either. I'm disappointed but will try again in November and hope for better luck next spring.
Beautiful flowers, attracts many pollinators

We've really enjoyed this wildflower mix. Planted very early in spring last year. Most seeds germinated, though some didn't flower until the 2nd year. Good range of colors and time of year for the blooms keeps a variety of pollinators and birds in our garden from spring through fall.
